Family Aid Project -
Disaster Response Network
An Invitation to Disaster!
Here are a few facts about disasters:
The first 72 hours after a major
natural disaster are critical for survival because it takes approximately that
long for local authorities and governmental agencies to even begin to bring
order and assess the situation
By the end of the first week, most
affected people will either be on the road to ‘surviving’ or a fatality.
It is the children, the aged and
those that are most vulnerable that suffer most in disasters.
The Family Aid Project’s FAP-NOW program and the Disaster Response Network (DRN) comprise an effort to deliver critical emergency disaster relief to significant 3rd World natural disasters in the shortest time possible. FAP-DRN is a network of 1000+ concerned financial sponsors locking arms with on-the-ground missionaries and local business leaders in or near the stricken communities to get the most and best assistance there quickly. Sponsors give ‘what they can’ within 24 hours of the disaster, local wholesale distributors give significant discounts to enable donated funds to purchase needed relief supplies and Family Aid Project, in conjunction with local missionaries, distribute it quickly (within the first week, God willing!).
Until it is someone you know and love, will you help us to help someone else’s loved one? Then, by God’s grace, we’ll be there to help yours!
Sincerely, Thank You!
