Local Projects Rundown

Trying to 'save the world' is pretty pointless if there is no care and concern for those that are nearest to us. As the saying goes, "Charity begins at home" but, we'd like to add, "Real Charity must not stop there!"

Our primary goal is to love and minister spiritually to those that are hungry for God and the things this world can't give.

Two major hurricanes hit the central region of the Gulf Coast in the space of approx. one month, displacing tens of thousands and causing billions

of dollars in property damage. FAP was there at day 1 and helped 1000's of displaced families and traumatized individuals through May of 2006.

The "Perfect Storm" Hits Houston

Tropical Storm Allison hit Houston over and over again for several weeks, dumping water on the city and surrounding areas until the ground could hold no more. Thousands were forced from their homes and the Houston Medical Center was under water.

Tomorrow's Leaders are the youth of today! With that in mind, FAP has an on-going program to reach and train youth in the practical knowledge and application of Biblical principals of discipleship and leadership as well as practical skills for disaster response.
